The Toyota 4Runner headlight housing is quite tricky. Instead of having a direct bulb insert to the housing, it is on a 90-degree angle. This creates a problem when switching to LEDs. This is because most LED bulbs have a filament head over 2cm wide! With the angled position and a wide LED bulb, the light put off by the LED is blocked when reflected off the headlight bowl. Most of the time, these LEDs are dimmer than stock halogen.
The DRZ Off-Road LED sets have a head less than 0.5cm wide! They also have 4 sides of LEDs putting out 360 degrees of light instead of only 2 sides. This creates an amazing light output! Over 275% brighter than stock LEDs!
